Best Ambient Music for Writing
Greetings Fantasy Nerds and fellow writers! This week we wanted to create a fun list of our favorite ambient music to listen to while writing. We know listening to podcasts or your favorite musical artists can be distracting, but writing in silence isn’t the best either. We hope you like our list and find some new vibes for your best writing!
Sailor Moon Lo-Fi
There are quite a few excellent ones out there if you’re a Sailor Moon fan, but WTF’s favorite for writing is “1 Hour of Relaxing Lofi Beats with Sailor Moon I Rain Sounds for Studying or Sleep”. In fact, the YouTube channel “Sailor Moon Lofi” is an excellent source for magical girl writing time! (>^_^)>
Fantasy-Themed
There are many wonderful fantasy-themed ones for this, so it’s difficult to choose! WTF really likes “Cozy Fantasy Village I Fantasy Music and Ambience”, the music is calming and the background puts you in the right mindset for fantasy writing!
Clever’s pick for fantasy-themed is “Exotic Plants Magical Fairy Library | Magical Music & Whimsical Nature”. It has calming nature sounds mixed with music that sounds straight out of a fantasy realm. Plus the background of a plant-filled library with floating fairies is inspirational by itself.
Rainy Lofi
WTF loves the sound of rain, it calms her mind and helps her relax, and being relaxed is imperative for productivity! Her two favorites for this category are “RAINING IN JAPAN ☔ Rainy Lofi Songs To Make You Calm Down And Relax Your Mind” and “Raining In Osaka ☔”. They both have beautiful backgrounds with perfect lighting and falling raindrops, paired with calming Lofi beats, they’re perfect to write to!
Cozy Lofi
Clever’s husband showed her this “Cozy Reading Corner 📚 Winter Lofi Music to Focus and Relax”. The background conjures up winter days spent inside reading and the music has a calm, yet upbeat vibe. It would be great to listen to for any writing project.
What Do You Think?
Which of these ambient songs are you going to listen to next? Do you already have a favorite you like to write to? Let us know in the comments!
Thanks so much for reading!
