Best Decor for Writers

Welcome, fellow writers! We thought it would be fun to share with you some of our favorite writer-inspired decor items. These are a great way to show pride in your work and inspire your creativity!

Wax Melters

Wax melters are fantastic for making your space smell wonderful, especially the space where you write! This themed wax melter is a writer’s dream, with stacked books and beautiful detail. You can also get writer themed waxes, like this Antique Books scented wax on Etsy. WTF got this melter during Halloween, so always be on the lookout for holiday items you can use year round! 

Doorknob Hangers

Doorknob hangers are a must have writer decor item because they also serve a practical purpose, letting people know not to disturb your writing flow. You can find a large array of designs and they are an inexpensive decor item. Clever has accumulated a few, which you can see above. You are sure to find one that fits your personality and interests.

Inspirational Board

Another decor item with a purpose is the inspiration board. It’s a creativity exercise as you make it, and also serves to inspire each time you view it. What’s great about this is you can invest as much money and time on the inspo board as you like, and you can even add to it over time. It is completely customizable to your interests, and you can include specific quotes and images that inspire you. 

Outdoor Statues

If you have any sort of yard or garden, Fantasy themed statues are an excellent edition to make your space feel more immersive, which is great for writing! Writing outside can be a lovely change of pace and great for your mental health, so why not make it more themed for your writing style! This is a dragon statue WTF has for her back yard.

Floating Bookshelves 

Floating bookshelves are a beautiful addition to any writer’s home or office. The great part is that you can add whichever books mean the most to you.
