Best Sprayed Edges Books for Fantasy Nerds 

We’ve started seeing so many amazing sprayed edges on books lately, so we decided to make a post about our favorites. Whether you collect sprayed edges books yourself or just like to admire them, we hope you enjoy this list!

Never the Roses

Clever got this book in a Blind Date with a Book, and what a perfect match! She’s never seen a more beautiful edge design, and in her favorite color too. From the sparkling sky, to the castle, and finishing with the blooming purple rose, the details are stunning.

Fourth Wing

The Empyrean series has released special editions with dragons flying up the edges of the books. Clever has made it a point to collect these for her bookshelf. Who wouldn’t want dragons on the edges of their fantasy novel?!

Our Vengeful Souls 

The edges on this book are perfect for a mermaid tale. The color of the sea with the imprints of tridents fit the story well and definitely got my attention on the shelf!

From Blood and Ash

Another find at a local small business, Clever got this striking book at The Obsidian Page. She’s been interested in starting the From Blood and Ash series, and this special design sold her. From the blood red color to the swords and falling leaves, these sprayed edges set the tone for a dark and daring read!

The Lord of the Rings

WTF has been wanting this sprayed edged The Lord of the Rings with the red pages and inscription. We especially love books with hand-painted edges, you can find these available online like Etsy! Link to buy the gorgeous one of Arwen and Aragorn featured above.
