Welcome, Fantasy Nerds! Last week we shared a list of our favorite poems with you. This week we decided to write our own poems, especially for this post. We are both fairly new to writing poetry, so this is a bit of an experiment. We hope you enjoy it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sometimes – Clever<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Sometimes I<\/p>\n\n\n\n Forget that I <\/p>\n\n\n\n Have wings to fly<\/p>\n\n\n\n Above it all Sometimes I<\/p>\n\n\n\n Forget that I<\/p>\n\n\n\n Can close my eye<\/p>\n\n\n\n Not see the fall We are always watching<\/p>\n\n\n\n Pettiness, cruelty, envy<\/p>\n\n\n\n Evil Sometimes we<\/p>\n\n\n\n Can choose to see<\/p>\n\n\n\n The beauty<\/p>\n\n\n\n In this world Sometimes we<\/p>\n\n\n\n Can choose to be<\/p>\n\n\n\n The beauty <\/p>\n\n\n\n In this world Lost – WTF<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The skies above<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Earth Below<\/p>\n\n\n\n I am in between<\/p>\n\n\n\n Not knowing where to go I feel lost<\/p>\n\n\n\n I feel this the most<\/p>\n\n\n\n But what pulls me through<\/p>\n\n\n\n Is that I am not alone My family, my friends<\/p>\n\n\n\n My lover, my pets<\/p>\n\n\n\n They are there for me<\/p>\n\n\n\n Until the bitter end But most of all<\/p>\n\n\n\n I have myself<\/p>\n\n\n\n I\u2019ve been through it all<\/p>\n\n\n\n I\u2019ve been there for every step I look in the mirror<\/p>\n\n\n\n When I feel lost<\/p>\n\n\n\n I nod at the woman I see<\/p>\n\n\n\n And tell her she is loved What Do You Think?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Have you tried writing poetry before?
