DEDICATION
I wanted to give a bit of a dedication, since this is a big moment for me, and there wasn’t an opportunity to include one in the book:
My story was inspired by the holidays that I spent with my family. They all went above and beyond to make Christmas magical. I even named the children in the story after my siblings. So thank you to my parents, who always encouraged us to use our imagination, play games, and read books. Thank you to all my family that have read my stories and sent messages of support: my siblings (Amber, Connor, Johnny, and my cousin who is basically a brother, Tevfik), my grandparents, Uncle Josh, Aunt Wendy, Aunt Tori, Aunt Suzen, Uncle David, Aunt Cecelia, Patrick, Uncle Mike, and Julia (my best friend, who all agree, is a part of the family). I love you all.
Thank you to my husband, who has always supported and encouraged me. I love the new holiday traditions that we have made together, and I look forward to many, many more holidays with you. Thank you to my “In-Laws”, who I am truly blessed to just think of as family. You are all wonderful people, and I am grateful that you are so kind and supportive.
Thank you to all my friends and fans that have encouraged and supported me. You know who you are! Thank you to my fellow authors in this anthology. I feel that we have all become buddies as we bonded over this shared launch experience, for a few of us our first. Lastly, thank you to all the Fantasy Nerds that read our blog!
