New Year’s Resolutions

• Support Other Writers: Some of the most fun we’ve had on this blog is when we featured guest authors and made connections with new people. We want to continue featuring guest authors on our blog next year. If you have a story you would like to publish on our blog, feel free to reach out! We have also made great connections in our Facebook group and on Medium. We want to make sure we set aside time next year to read other writer’s stories, respond to comments, and post supportive things in our group.

• Get Ahead of Schedule: It’s really hard to stay ahead of schedule with our writing. Sometimes we fall into that trap of just writing our posts week-by-week, instead of getting ahead and having multiple posts ready. We want to try to stay ahead next year. This will allow us to plan posts in advance and write better posts that may need a bit of planning and research. We’ve managed to get ahead before the holidays, so we can spend some time with family, but we’re striving to keep it that way.

• Working on Personal Writing Goals: Clever and I use most of our writing time for the blog, and while we are more than happy to do this our personal writing goals take the backburner. This year we hope to stay ahead of schedule, as mentioned above, so we have more writing time to work on our novels, poems, or any other form of writing that isn’t directly related to the blog. It’s important to have a balance!
